Introducing our handmade felted wool collars, made from the lovely fall fleeces of our Icelandic sheep. Each collar is a unique piece of craftsmanship, with every individual lock of wool felted one at a time to the collar base. The base/underside of each collar consists of tightly felted wool (also from our flock), so these collars, made with 100% chemical free and untreated wool, are warm, cozy, and the perfect unique fashion statement to add to your wardrobe.
Each collar is named for the sheep whose fleece went into its making. Currently two of the collars available have come from the ram 'Þórr', the smaller collar is simply called 'Little Þórr'.
While Hermione's fleece is a pure white, Þórr's has a moorit brown tog (the longer fibers) which gives the shawls from his fleece a bit more depth and visual texture.
